My name is Stephanie Morish.  I am originally from Virginia and currently residing in Sydney, Australia.  I am a health enthusiast and travel junkie who is incredibly passionate about living a healthy, fulfilling, and balanced life full of limitless adventures, reasonless joy, and abundant laughter.  To me, balance is at the core of health and happiness.  This means balance in all aspects of our lives: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual. Our body mirrors what our mind believes, so we are each responsible for our own well being.  This also means that we participate on some level to the creation of illness within our body, and therefore we can participate in our own healing.  It is upon this realization that the body has the amazing potential to heal itself that our healing can really begin.

Over the past ten years, I have struggled with many forms of digestive distress in addition to hormonal imbalances as a result of having polycystic ovaries. After years of symptomatic discomfort and bewilderment, I began seeing a naturopath, as well as doing my own reading and researching on the side. The naturopath introduced me to the world of holistic health and an approach to health and healing based on the philosophy that the body will heal itself with its own intelligence given the right conditions.  I gained invaluable knowledge during our sessions which activated a curiosity in me to learn more about the healing power of nature and the ways we can assist nature in treating dis-ease.

My own journey has ignited an inextinguishable fire in me to share with people what it is the body needs to be healthy and how closely the mind and body are interconnected.  It is with this passion that I decided on a path change to become a Holistic Health Coach so I can help others achieve their best health as we all deserve to wake up and feel awesome!  I am currently enrolled in the Integrative Institute of Nutrition and am studying to become an Ayurveda Lifestyle Counselor at the Ayurveda Elements Academy.  Loving them both!

I began the Sattva Space as a way to share all the inspiration I am gathering throughout my health and wellness studies. I also hope to share the ups and downs of my own health and healing in this mission I am on to find ways to make life better, brighter, happier - full of joy and laughter!  Hopefully through my own ramblings, you will find something inspiring, or at least useful, to employ on your own path to becoming your happiest self.  In essence, this is a lifestyle blog which focuses on living your passions, cultivating balance, nourishing your mind and body, as well as a place to share lots of yummy recipes and snaps from my travels.  I hope you enjoy!
